I spend mornings struggling to get out of bed with intense sleep inertia and the days yawning and yearning for the moment I can go to bed. Then ~8pm hits and I for no apparent reason feel wide awake.

This creates an awful cycle of being so tired in the morning I end up running from my bed to my car with no time to properly start the morning because I kept snoozing alarms then being exhausted all day from barely sleeping which makes me obviously more stressed and then I’m wide awake at night again for no apparent reason despite how tired I was a few hours prior.

I’m well aware I’m being a big baby. I want to be disciplined and strong and don’t know why I’m like this? What is a hack to feel tired at night and awake during the day when you’re a night owl? And for some context I’m neurodivergent but I hate using that as any sort of excuse but it’s all I can come up with as to why despite trying for over 10 years this is still such a recurring struggle for me
