Ursula Fond-of-Lyin’
Her father was an advocate for eugenics in regards to criminals and when he was in office, he appointed a bunch of Nazis around him. Her grandfather was a Nazi, but there’s been a big campaign to obscure that by presenting an SS officer with the same name and claiming it’s just a confused namesake. Her grandmother’s family was one of the biggest slave owners in South Carolina. Her whole family has been filthy rich for centuries.
Of course she will court the right-wingers. She’s one herself.
Wow, who could of guessed that her disapproval far-right parties stemmed only from them being “Putin’s friends”, rather then being far-right?
I am as shocked as you are.
I’m pretty sure she’s just a Nazi larping as a Succdem liberal

I feel like this edition of the story is kinda hackneyed. Like, who named her? Otto Von Bismarck is a cool name, but who as ever heard of someone named Von Der Leyen?! Big ‘copy my homework but make sure it looks different’ hours over here. Them just changing the story to take place in Europe instead of in one country that’s part of Europe doesn’t save it.
what
Otto Von Bismarck is a cool name
Fun fact: Otto or similar exist(ed) independently in German, Etruscan and Punic languages, so in fact quite some people think it’s cool.
similar story with the name ‘Dara’
