Scrap that, two weeks of vacation is something I can achieve. However, I had 6 weeks of summer break back in school - give me that. I don’t think I’ll ever have that much uninterrupted time again until I retire, assuming I’ll ever be able to.
I’m showing my age but we had like 2 1/2 months…school ended in may, and go back in aug.

In Poland we get 9 weeks at school, and higher education students get 13. Plus two weeks in winter, usually january or february.
Over here in Europe you can get up to 13 weeks! Although that’s only Latvia and Turkey.
Latvian here, ah the memories of finishing all of my school stuff at the end of May and knowing that I won’t have to do anything until 1st of September.
Although, now as a university student, I basically get 2 months free between each semester if I don’t sign up for any session classes

Being a kid had its perks
And it felt forever because one was so young.
Now I wish time passed like it did when I was young. it just goes by so damn fast now. going from Sunday to the next Sunday feels like nothing now. just an absolute blur. it’s Friday today, feels like yesterday was Monday.
when I was a kid all I wanted was for time to hurry up. Christmas was 2 days away? an absolute eternity. Hell even the night of going to bed at 10pm felt like decades until the morning.
You never realize how good you had it and I finally understand why adults used to tell me to enjoy those years and how it’d be the best time of my life. I’d give anything in the world to be a teenager again. absolutely anything.
In Australia it’s a six week holiday for kids as it’s the summer holidays. From just before Christmas Eve to the end of January
