  • It’s supposedly not, but even then, why should we give a shit about this stupid demo? They basically dressed a SpaceX rocket up like a car. That’s it.

None of what is shown here is ever, and yes, I absolutely mean EVER, going to make it into a production car. Why? I can boil it down to 3 reasons.

    1. It would be unsafe as shit for any car to have the capability of doing any of this. I’m sure everyone here can agree that most drivers are fucking stupid and are a danger to everyone around them. Now give them the ability to drive like they’re in fucking GTA.

    2. It’s expensive as shit.

    3. Most importantly. It is fucking impractical and stupid. Not only is most of the space in the car wasted on rocket parts. How much energy does it take to do something like this? How much energy is stored in a Tesla battery? Anything short of a small nuclear reactor inside the car, would make the ability to do this, at best, impractical. It’s just so unfathomably retarded to want a car that can do this, because it shows a basic lack of understanding of the laws of physics.

This is a media stunt, made by the biggest egotistical piece of shit in history, nothing more.

  • I mean, obviously americans should do everything in their power to vote this away, but even if they’re successful in this election, it doesn’t end there. An undemocratic ideology doesn’t stop, just because they lost the democratic way. They don’t respect the rules, and want to destroy the system, so they’re not going to accept the outcome of the system, and they’re definately not going to change because of it. It’s a very very deep sickness in USA, that is rooted deep in the culture, so it will take a hell of a long time, effort, and lives to get it out.

  • I think it’s a matter of worktype. If people only use it for something where they don’t/can’t verify the result, like a search engine, they’ll assume it’s always correct, but if you use it for something where you don’t have a choice verifying it, like your example which is very easily visually checked, you get to see everything it fucks up.

It’s also about workload. Give it something small that any idiot could do with a few google searches, like putting together a formula in Excel, it’ll likely do it without fucking it up 99% of the time. But something more complex with more parametres, will have a higher chance to fail spectacularly.
