Hi, no. You can also be here on Lemmy. Here is the link to the app -> app.gamescovery.com.

The reason I’m asking people to join our Discord or Lemmy is because:

    1. The app is untested, so I want to improve it with the community’s help before sharing the link publicly.
    2. I want to receive feedback from users and invite them to our community. I thought it would be a good idea to ask people to join Discord or Lemmy first, so they have a place to share feedback when they try the app for the first time.

  • Hi, I see, thanks for your thoughts. I often have similar feeling, but in my case it mainly caused by the fact that I like multiplayer/MMO games and current multiplayer/MMO games are trash, and old one I loved to play have servers offline for a long time now.

Maybe you should just relax for a little and switch to something else like tabletop games, or even to movies/series/books.

The only recommendation I can give you that worked for me a few years ago - try VR games if you still haven’t. I guarantee that you will be positively shocked by experience even if you have just a headset (you don’t need a west, a treadmill, etc.). The cons of that solution is the you need rather powerful PC (the best VR games now exist only on PC, games that run directly on a headset 90% of time are bad) + you need to buy a VR headset (but I recommend you to buy used one, Quest 3 for overall ok experience, Valve Index if you have money, Quest 2 or Pico 4 if you low on money) + there is only a bunch of VR games exist that are worth playing, so after a while you may be bored.

  • My main issue with this game is that it doesn’t have a good balance, in my opinion.

In terms of multiplayer, there is no matchmaking and you can only play in lobbies, so you are either stomped by players with higher rank/skill or you have a mishmash of players of different skill levels in one match, which may be fun, but in most cases it’s not.

In terms of gameplay, it feels like the game would benefit from balancing, but overall it’s possible to play. The biggest problem is that there is a new overpowered Legion faction that people want to play because it’s unbalanced, and while it isn’t enabled by default, there are rarely any lobbies with this faction disabled.

Besides that, I don’t really like the community. While there are nice players to play with, many are idiots - for example, I think a player is an idiot if they joins “NOOBS ONLY” lobby and then screams in chat that people don’t know how to play.

Not talking about that most of lobbies are played on 2 maps while the game has like 50 different maps at least…
