I’ve noticed that I tend to stay closer to the line on the driver side. I noticed this because the lane assist in my car always wants to nudge me away from that line and closer to the center. I’ve also noticed that the car’s computer uses the line on the passenger side for reference when centering in the lane.

What else could I say?

Metric vs. imperial seems to generate an awful lot of feelings.

I appreciate the reply, and have formed an opinion that pretty much aligns with the other sensible people here.

I often think that there’s no way a man could possibly achieve levels of douchebaggery so high that he sends a message like this unironically. Then I get in my car and see large pickup trucks behaving the way they do.
