I today’s world, I will judge the capacity of anyone who think “both candidates are the same” in any elections. We’re have seen in real time how rights conquered through decades can be destroyed in a matter of months

And people still buying from nintendo is really disappointing

1·3 days agoWorks like a charm on mobile without javascript.
Putting simple things behind a qrwall. I once went to a presentation and they had that qr code to scan to get the certificate, and I went there without my phone, so I got no certificate (I needed it for academic bureaucracy). restaurants with qr-only menus also come to mind. Oh, I also saw once a school with the timetables mural with just qrs and nothing else written, so if new students didn’t have a phone AND mobile internet, they couldn’t find by themselves where and when their classes took place
Why not give it a try and see for yourself? When I did it, I got surprised by how the sluggish pc I had became much more performant. I had a few issues here and there, with the transition, but with time, I started getting much fewer issues and stress than with windows
As for pirated games, most will run fine with wine. You can use plain wine, bottles or lutris to run them. If you look for it, you will also find some good source of pirated games for linux ;)

14·5 days agoI’ve been ramping up the game as well. Now besides adblocks, I do almost all my online reading without javascript, I avoid all big tech and big brands, both online and physically, I plan on not getting any new equipment for at least 5 years, and I also buy less stuff in general

It would be interesting to see that study carried out in other countries as well. In my country, for example, many older people will tell the tales from hiperinflation and how they had episodes of starvation when younger. I believe most people would agree with the best economy being post mid-90s, only varying on when, so it woud give a considerade skew to that chart.
And theres me, who prefers music from before I was born

does it happen with other roms as well?
