Less as in “more void” is rarely healthy advice.
For example, when feeling tired due to an unhealtly lifestyle - exercising, eating healthy and having a sleep schedule is the way to go (generally speaking).
Or when feeling gloom due to loneliness - spending more “me-time” in front of a screen is not going to help. It will just distract, but ultimately deepen the feeling. Putting in some effort to spend time with (wholesome) individuals will often lift the gloom noticeably.
