Something funny is going on at Lemm.ee. The admin is suddently ban hammer happy too.

That and all the mods removed from here is kinds strange.

Anyone have any word on what’s up and why the drastic changes in attitude and all of the sudden bans?

Lemm.ee is a bunch of new admins, so it’s not longer as friendly to differing opinions as it once was.

Which a bunch of Lemmy Democrats are gonna cheer and advertise about.

Probably a good idea for us to find a new conservative community.

Don’t let them silence you, guys. We should just move–not run away. Running away is what they want us to do.

EDIT: I’m not defending Nazi’s or Nazi salutes. I didn’t see the post and I haven’t seen any describe it other than “it was a Nazi salute!” Does anyone want to actually describe the post? What did it say? Was it a meme? Was it Musk? Was it a random pic?

    No one is banning conservative communities. they are removing nazi posts

    And I am fine with that. But I am seeing a larger conversation, in the links provided where people are saying that there should be no conservative communities. As in literally saying, “There shouldn’t be conservative communities allowed anywhere on Lemmy.”

    That’s what I’m referring to.

                Do you think the majority of Lemmy users would like conservative communties on Lemmy?

                How about this: You create a new user name. Then you and I will create a new Conservative community on Lemmy and be co-mods. After a month, tell me what you think about the general attitude Lemmy has about people who start conservative communities.

                You’ll be called a Nazi even if you don’t post or comment on a single post. lmao

                    Nope. I’ll allow breitbart posts though. and you gotta promise not to remove posts unless they are literally saying nazi stuff. You can’t just go, “wait, this isn’t an anti-elon news article, so it’s A NAZI POST!” and crazy shit like that.

                    I say we start a community, conservative-leaning (because there are already a shitton of liberal-leaning ones) and see what happens. I am fine having a non-conservative mod, so that we can hopefully overcome the whole "all the mods are nazi’s accusations)

                    Should we start on a new instance or maybe see if we can take over the conservative@lemm.ee instance since it has no mods right now?
