    It’s been misquoted the article actually says:

    In addition to sanctions against Russia, Lammy’s statement also included a pledge to provide £3 billion ($3.78 billion, €3.61 billion) annually to Kyiv and “being ready and willing to provide UK troops as part of peacekeeping forces if necessary.”

      The distinction being that they will not be stationed in areas with active combat, but rather as a militarized police? Sounds like the distinction is quite subtle in reality and might be (willingly or not) misinterpreted, no?

        No it means in the event a peace deal is reached the UK may contribute troops to enforce that peace
