They don’t want to cut education. They want to cut the education department waste and salaries wasted.

Do you have any links or proof that they want to cut education? Because they are just saying states should have control over that. Colleges are still there. Elementary schools are still there. High schools are still there. Preschools are still there. Middle schools are still there. Online learning is still there.

        What education is being cut?

You appear to know nothing about how schools are funded. Closing the department of education is the goal and promoting “parent choice” so they can funnel public funding to private schools though vouchers. So your local elementary, middle, and high schools gets funding cuts to subsidize private and evangelical schools.

You have no proof of this whatsoever.

And I DO know how schools are funded. I worked for one for over 20 years.

If you worked in one and didn’t recognize the effects of this happening, you didn’t pay attention. It’s been the Republican playbook for more than 20 years.

I’d say go back, but we’re close to not having that option.

Again, you THINK that is happening. Republicans have never said they just wanna go around closing schools.

You’ve never worked in a school have you?

Re-read the comment you’re referencing before questioning someone else’s credentials. Reading comprehension is a benefit of a well funded education system.
