The concept of the middle class is a thing, the label came about later but for Americans when they talk of the middle class it is strictly referring to the middle class of the 50s which oddly magically faded after civil rights movements occurred
Eh? I’m just trying to say, without hostile intention, that since what you’re saying contradicts my existing understanding, it would take more than just one person’s say so to change that understanding. I can’t find corroboration on that Wikipedia article either…
