use a 12th gen for work, take an AMD one for better battery life. Also put a charge limiter if you’re going to work mostly plugged.
Charge limiter? Can you elaborate?
I assume they mean to set the max battery charge in the bios to preserve longevity of the battery (e.g. only lets it charge to 80% before charging stops)
exactly, you can configure that in the BIOS
