What is evil is the religion of sports in America, the cultural obsession that steamrolls public education and hollows them out, turning them into little football factories with class sizes of 50 where half of them are illiterate (whether that’s from all the money going to the coach instead of teachers, or all the concussions they are inflicting on the children). Every adult sports fanatic who spends money and goes to events and watches games contributes to this massive festering rot
in that case sportsball is not a good phrase as it doesn’t come accross like that at all. It comes off as obnoxiously dismissing something because you don’t like it
sportsball represents all sports, not just American football.
