    I doubt we stand a chance, against the narrative that corporations are victims of a lack of industriousness and frugality among the working class.

      You might not, but I have a secret weapon: living in another country, one with sane (or at least less insane) laws 😁

        California is supposed to be effectively as you described, compared to the rest of the US.

          Except it’s really not. The real estate industry, the entertainment industry and PG&E get away with murder in California. Literally, in the case of at least one of them.

          Neoliberalism, which is the main ideology of the California political elite, is still very pro-corporate and susceptible to legal bribes from billionaires and their corporations.
