Summary

The sentencing in Donald Trump’s Manhattan hush-money case has been postponed indefinitely following his 2024 presidential election victory.

Judge Juan Merchan ordered Trump’s legal team to file their dismissal argument by December 2, with prosecutors responding a week later.

Trump’s attorneys argue that as president-elect, he is immune from prosecution and claim the case is politically motivated.

Prosecutors oppose outright dismissal, suggesting proceedings could be deferred until Trump’s presidency ends.

Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records linked to hush-money payments during the 2016 election.

At this point, the only option is to completely wipe it out or there is a massive incentive for him to hang on to power at any cost. And fuck knows, if Trump thinks he has to wipe out most of humanity in order to not be inconvenienced, he’s fine with that.
