      Static webpages are light to host. It could get enshittified but people could take their website and spend 5mins learning to host it on another place or their own machine.

        Subsidiary question, are people actually having webpages on their own PCs nowadays? I always wondered why there seemed to be so few.

          Fuck no. That’s why this will get enshittified. Anyone that tells you people will just move or host it themselves live in a fucking dreamworld. That’s why geocities went away without a replacement.

      It will not. It’s actually for community. It is a GeoCities(Dead) replacement a Old Website hoster.

      It’s for simple people. You got the idea wrong. I think you should use codeberg.page or github.io.
