I am reinstalling gentoo for the 4th time now and I am planning to bedrock it, going through the manual gentoo install can get really tedious at times, so I want to use this GUI script based on arch, what do you think???

What is the reason you’re reinstalling? Are you upgrading to another PC? If so, I would set things in my make.conf and kernel conf so that stuff can run on both machines. Recompile, move everything to the new PC and from there remove the support for the old platform and recompile, which can advance with every update of packages as you move on.

And there is now a binary repository which helps speed things up.

I am personally not a fan of such install scripts, because I have chosen Gentoo to avoid them in the first place.

    :)

    Nice one.

Always a joy to see another Bedrock Linux user in the wild.

Also nice see another tui-gentoo-install-script writer in the wild.

    Great minds think alike. ;)

(Though, my gentoo installer’s about 12 years in neglect, and far inferior, just sequential option prompts, no preconfiguration menu like yours. Looking good. Though… one feature mine aspired to, before life happened and development stopped, was that it wasn’t to be just gentoo, but any distro).
