    “Here’s why”

    I may have missed it, but there wasn’t actually a reason. They state things about how “once they go up, they stay up,” but there wasn’t an actual explanation. It seems like they can come down, but something doesn’t want them to.

    My 2¢: it won’t come down because that would lower profits, and if that happens it’s the end of the world**.
