I’ve just stopped buying shit. My wallet started breaking. Got sick of always replacing crap quality with more expensive crap quality. My pockets are my wallet. Wallet is mostly pointless.

Shoes, like all products. I only shop in stores so I can see first hand where the manufacturer is trying to screw me. I’ve pulled shoes apart in stores. Clearly low quality garbage. I only buy higher quality shoes now that don’t look like they are made of foam, and I carefully inspect EVERYTHING that I possibly can. I basically leave a pile of trash where trash products on e stood in stores, from bent frying pans, to easily bend handles. I consider them a warning to other shoppers to stay clear of these products.

Why do your shoes only last 2-3 years?
