I am theoretically switching over from Reddit to Lemmy. Finding myself spending more time on Lemmy than on Reddit. Maybe it’s because I am limited to using the desktop and can’t aimlessly browse Reddit on my iPhone. Of late, the only subreddits I cared for were on sports and their matchday threads and r/watches. I found myself aimlessly browsing through r/AskReddit and asking and answering pointless questions.

This is nice. I may steal it. To be honest, Reddit started dying for me when awards came out.

So far I’m loving it. Trying to engage more here than I did on Reddit - hopefully it pans out.

I think the trick is to be way more active than we were on reddit. I’ve been trying to post more in the communities I’m on here. Gotta generate content!

I agree. I want to keep replying here but I feel like I may overdo it. Gotta be good content - not just for the sake of adding content ;P

For sure. I like that the communities I follow on here are small enough that a simple “what’s up guys” is quality content and helps give a little content for folks to scroll through.
