I only got to play the mandatory recorder stuff on a Rudolf Steiner school. Like a laptop today you had to have a recorder to attend. Playing a dull song with 10 other kids. It blows…tenfold.
also started recorder in a room full of squawking middle schoolers. played clarinet into bari sax then hooked up w/ the marching band drumline and really fell off the woodwind side of things. i do have that 1st model akai ewi, i think it’s 4000… that thing will sound like whatever i want it to w/ EIGHT octaves. i have to write it down first tho cause i cant play for shit.
bandmate playing flute, & spit that first verse. she was normally on bass, 5pc band. we’d switch instruments and group songs up like ‘no guitar needed here, so have a trombone, but while that’s out now we’re also doin sex love and money’
