I am sick of reddit ads, the constant downgrade of UI design, killing 3rd party apps, and a business model leaning more heavily into selling user...

      Many did back when they killed 3rd party apps, guess everyone who gives a shit is already on one of the what, six?, c/privacy comms lol.

        I don’t see to much of an issue with multiple communities given multiple subscriptions and crossposting. That thing they did awhile back to see where else something was posted was a very significant improvement in usability of the federation. Heck while going through active threads this morning one other one im conversing is with someone bemoaning a bad mod and how using a different community is dismissive. I don’t get people wanting to give power to one community or a subset of users as mods. A dozen folks who are into something can be great conversation.
