While I have the Lemmy connect app open, my Samsung Galaxy S22+'s volume buttons do not work. I must exit the app to adjust the volume.

What’s going on here? Can this be fixed?

    Oh hey yeah, didn’t notice until you said but I just tried it on my OnePlus 8t, so it’s not just you

    Edit: I just went to the play store and noticed an update was available but not installed yet. That appeared to fix it.

      Probably it was just an unintentional side effect implementing that feature

    You what after seeing this post I checked my android mobile and the exact same thing occurs for me too.

    Me too. The volume pop-up seems to get disabled too. Exiting the app does not fix it. Have to go into Android settings and fiddle with it to get it back.

    UPDATE: Seems the latest beta (1.0.97) has fixed this, at least on my Samsung S21 Ultra.

    There’s a setting to disable volume key navigation for comments. It still changed the volume for me with that setting on. I’m on version 0.10.9 what version of connect are you using here?
