Cross-posted from ““Metropolis 2050 #3” by Robert McCall” by @Yingwu@lemmy.dbzer0.com in !imaginarylandscapes@lemmy.world
You reminded me that I have to finally watch the metropolis anime because I’ve had it on my plan to watch list since forever. One day I will finally do that. heh
The artwork reminds me a lot of this “society if” meme. lol
Oh btw, just noticed where you crossposted the artwork. FMHY instance has been dead since forever and it’s just that the cached data from it is still available. You’re posting to the void in there.
Ohh, good to know. First time I crossposted there, just thought it was good to spread it out a bit haha.
Not sure if you noticed but I’ve locked some of the communities and added a lock to display names when they weren’t something I’d want to post much to in the future and were too niche for anyone else to maintain. (Because again, I didn’t create them and they were abandoned by the creator so I wanted to cover the moderation at least.)
This is the list of imaginary comms (that I mod at least) that I will be posting to once I get my shit together and post scheduling comes out (I’ve hidden the other ones using ublock):
I’m looking into automating some repetitive actions for getting post info like titles and descriptions to make posting easier and thus harder to procrastinate on so hopefully I’d post a regularly soon-ish. But that’s for pixiv artworks where I have a specific file name format containing artwork and artist id (“747277_p0 by 28075 (pixiv)”). I have no clue how I’d go about the artworks I downloaded from artstation or crawled from artwork communities on reddit long ago because the data would be harder to get without an easy way to access the original source. But I have ~12 000 artworks from pixiv so I should be able to post some quality content from pixiv folder specifically for some time before I figure out the other folders.
I’m aiming to ride yesterday’s motivation wave and finally add rules and descriptions to my communities because it’s been long overdue.
(Enjoy my info dump.)
