Whichever you like. Gentoo is all about choice. IceWM and jwm are windowsy, and very very light.
… I’d choose to upgrade the hardware. ;) (~ if you’ve not already in the 4 years since posting that. Sorry to leave you hanging so long). ;D
While it is not impossible to setup Gentoo Linux on a machine like that, I do not know whether it is worth the hassle. I would just go for Linux Mint or so (would be light enough, esp. their flavour with XFCE).
