My friend is able to freely post in lemmy.world and lemmy.ml communities, which is demonstrable here
However, another friend pointed out that her posts aren’t showing up on lemmy.ml and lemmy.world
https://lemmy.ml/c/todayilearned?dataType=Post&sort=New
https://lemmy.world/c/askmen?dataType=Post&sort=New
https://lemmy.world/c/newcommunities?dataType=Post&sort=New
https://lemmy.world/c/asklw?dataType=Post&sort=New
If the posts were removed by the authorities, that would’ve been documented in the modlogs.
Despite what some may claim, she is not “instance banned” on lemmy.world or lemmy.ml. This is misinformation as she literally exudes proof of otherwise completely on demand (would a ghosted person be getting votes and commentary?)

Notice the red banned here:
https://lemmy.world/u/shinigamiookamiryuu@lemm.ee
(would a ghosted person be getting votes and commentary?)
yes, from the native instance.
- https://lemmy.world/c/askmen?dataType=Post&sort=New: post does not show as Lenni is banned on LW
- https://lemmy.zip/c/askmen@lemmy.world?dataType=Post&sort=New: post does not show as Lenni is banned on LW, and thus the LW community does not forward the post to other instances
- https://lemm.ee/c/askmen@lemmy.world?dataType=Post&sort=New: post shows because Lenni is not banned from Lemm.ee
Only lemm.ee users can see and interact with that post.
