    LOL THE COMMENTATORS:

“Not sure why Trossard is arguing, the system is right there”

    Replay plays

“Oh, it should have been an Arsenal throw”

    You fucking muppets

Edit: I keep forgetting to double newline

Jorginho consistently being our captain is something I didn’t expect coming into this season ngl

It is disrespectful to hard working players that have been here longer. Saliba, Saka, or Martinelli should be captain. I understand he brings experience, but it just seems like Arteta has favorites.

If a player takes the mantle to lead, then they should be captain. Ødegaard was here shorter than Saka etc. as well, but he’s a fine captain. Saka took it from Eddie. Jesus took it almost immediately.

For sure. Longevity is an awful, awful reason to make someone a leader. Some people have leadership qualities and some don’t. It can be learnt, but not overnight.

Because then everyone would know they got something wrong. We can’t have that, can we? It would disrupt the illusion that refs are perfect little angels who are never wrong. Unless there’s a clear error, in which case they’re only human and what do you expect from them?

6 ft 4, but you’re right he needs to make runs into the box as soon as Martinelli breaks the line.

If we guarantee top spot do we start playing some kids? I know it’s not Europa but surely we’d need to preserve as much fitness as possible, especially with how last year’s Europa campaign went
