The New York State Board of Elections is opting to wait for the courts to rule on the eligibility of former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, signaling that the board would be open to taking his name off state ballots.

In a November 3 letter, the NYSBOE informed U.S. District Judge Glenn Suddaby that the state agency is taking “no position” in the matter of Trump’s candidacy and that it will “abide by any orders of judgements of the court.”

You seem to think Republicans will give a damn about laws and refrain from doing this vindictively, solely for political points and on the off chance that it might work with the right judge.

    They will not.

You seem to think they will have that thing we have now called a fuckton of evidence. They don’t. Just like the election challenges that actually went before judges it will fall on its face if the GOP tries this with no proof. The only place that works is on TV or soc.media.
