This VN is a horror masterpiece. While the anime adaptation manages to capture some of its charm, it doesn’t come close to how tense and terrifying the VN truly is. Compared to the anime, the VN made me feel so much more attached to the characters through stellar comedy scenes at the beginning of each arc. This is an all-star cast, and everyone has a little bit to offer. The plot itself is also very thoughtful and surprisingly topical. -https://vndb.org/w1002
Haha, I think the main thing stopping me has been that they’re almost all for Windows. I know I can probably run them with Wine, but it’s still a hurdle, if just a small one. I really appreciated that Doki Doki Literature Club supported Linux, even if it was very “babby’s first VN”.
