Imma have to try this when someone else made it. The few times I made it myself, I didn’t care for it. I must be doing something wrong because it’s just egg and rice.
I’d love to be able to make this, or even taste it. I’ll say that, in this photo, it looks as if someone went through a bunch of work to produce a beautiful culinary delight… and then just squirted a bunch of ketchup on it.
What’s the sauce? Please tell me it isn’t ketchup.
Omuraisu is usually eaten with ketchup. It’s meant to be a quick snack. The fancy ones have a special sauce though.
Ugh. I mean, I like ketchup, but it’s not haut cuisine in my book. Oh well, I know of nowhere near me to get this anyway.
