MLK was certainly preferable for the government. Malcolm was murdered by the NOI though. I would’ve expected the government to have killed him by that point, no idea why he wasn’t. Violence would’ve been reasonable. Killing Strom Thurmond could’ve only turned out well.
You think that the civil right movement was peaceful?
Well, that was mostly peaceful. Well, the MLK Jr. era part. Those worked because democrats wanted votes and knew they’d get them. Trump doesn’t care.
It was peaceful because the options were deal with MLK or deal with Malcolm X. Both were still killed.
