Wolves haven’t been a push over. They already beat City and Spurs. We got to comfortable in the second half

We need to work on that complacency trickling in again, but in yesteryears we might have fallen apart after that goal. We got grit now.

I have a soft spot for Wolves, I’m actually kind of glad they’ll be fine this season.

I feel what we see as complacency is the style of play that Arteta is trying to implement. Remember the days of tiki taka? I think Arteta is trying to replicate that style of control into our style and into the squad.

While it may come across as boring, slow, or complacent I feel like the team is playing (or trying to) the way Arteta is asking of them. Zinny like errors will obviously happen with this style of play, but the defensive stats don’t lie.

I’m fine if we don’t win a beauty pageant with our style of play but if it makes us Premier League title challengers and allows us to make deep runs into the CL then sign me up.

I honestly thought they’d be much worse than they are.

Can’t have a soft spot for them myself though. That Martinelli double yellow still stings.

I don’t think the Tomi sub can be overlooked here. White is my favourite player, but the cohesion dropped a bit when the change was made. always the way when things don’t go quite according to plan.
