I have a device like this and it supports heavy gpu inside my pc. Wery usefull and nicly built thing made from metal. But the consern is it has a magnet on botom side, so it sticks to metal surfece inside the case. Wery usefull again but my hard disk is under that metal surfice. So i wonder can it corupt data or damage hdd itself…?!

Do you have an actual HDD anyway? Like an old spinning one?

Most PCs (especially higher end ones that would need a GPU support) in the last 10 years have SSDs that magnets REALLY don’t affect.

        Because they’re so slowwww

You’ll want at least a small SSD you keep your operating system and the games you’re playing on. You can shuffle games you’re not playing back to the SSD.

No no you misundestod. I do use ssds for system and for games, but as storage i like hard drives. For storing movies, tv shows and game instalacion files… personal pictures and videos etc 🙂
