A game’s universe and franchise are 2 different things. Just because a character in one game exists in the same universe as a different game that doesn’t mean they’ll automatically appear in the story of that other game. Technically Leverage is in the same universe as Stargate SG1, but I would still be pretty shocked to see Tealc show up in an episode of Leverage and would consider telling people about it happening to be a spoiler.

Ahti showing up in Alan wake isn’t a given just because they exist in the same universe, because he’s originally from a different story and didn’t even interact with the Alan Wake stuff from the Control dlc. Since you wouldn’t automatically expect him to be in the AW2 story he wasn’t originally a part of, saying he’s in the game is in fact a spoiler.
