Of course they are afraid, armed National guards have taken over cities, and people know damned well that no one was held responsible for the murders at Kent State.
Civil war has already started. Only one side is fighting. They are winning with no opposition at all.
Americans are too afraid to even general strike. We have already surrendered.
In the history books it started 6. january. War usually means use of deadly weapons so I would call this a takeover.
