In person, it was about half as bright/vivid — though still incredible. Thought I did look for a suitable dark site/sufficiently low enough Bortle-scale value area. Rather difficult in the DMV.

It is definitely more exaggerated through the phone. In person, it was about half as bright/vivid — though still incredible.
Thought I did look for a suitable dark site/sufficiently low enough Bortle-scale value area. Rather difficult in the DMV.
