People don’t host video sites because of how demanding and not profitable it is.
YouTube doesn’t break even. Google runs it at a loss just to have that advantage.
And hosting lots of videos is expensive
We’re not passengers but participants, let us not be complicit in feeding the beast.
I run two insignificant communities for posting vids. Gotta post YT to have something, but I try to find alternatives and encourage others too.
