The fuck? Why is no one talking about this? How is this age verification being implemented?
No idea
California unfortunately has a long tradition of creating stupid new laws that sound “helpful” with no technical ability to allow companies to abide by it (see firearm microstamping). Probably just going to selectively use it as a way to restrict some companies that won’t allow them access to private info or something.
Poorly I am sure. But maybe they will hire Sierra Games and we will get a Leisure Suit Larry age verification quiz.
