Hello,

I joined feddit.online about four months (moved from midwest.social mostly because I like PieFed’s interface better), and noticed some users asking about doing a November Novel Writing competition on the Fediverse. So, I decided (very last minute) to set up a community.

Originally, I called the community NaNoWriMo2, as that was what the concept was based on. But, we quickly changed the name to FediWriMo. Now we are still stuck with “!nanowrimo2@feddit.online” as the address for the community. Is there a way to change this to !fediwrimo@feddit.online?

    I’m no expert but I think you should just open that up as a second community and then force everyone over there.

      That was a backup plan in my book. Just want to see if there is a way to avoid that. (Although with the way Federation works it might be the best option.)
