Seems like this is going to happen. Carney is giving lip service to “giving indigenous partnership”, but that’s code for sharing a tiny amount of the royalties with the government approved IA councils. What this will do, as we’ve seen in the past, is enrich certain people and put a barrier between actual people and the wealth/self government.
