On Friday morning, cellphone footage originating from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Jonathan Ross showing the murder of Minneapolis mother and wife Renee Nicole Good was leaked to right-wing media. The new footage conclusively demonstrates that Ross deliberately positioned himself in front of Good’s vehicle to justify murdering her.

      I’m not surprised, but I thought body cams was mandatory in the US.

        It’s a state by state requirement. There’s no federal body cam requirement.

            Body cam footage is hard to tamper with. Cellphones and GoPro videos however can be easily deleted. I wouldn’t be surprised if, despite policy, DHS agents are being unofficially discouraged from using body cams. Just like the administration is using Signal rather than their oversight-friendly official apps.

        They’re not police. They have even less legal power than police. They’re trying to intimidate.
