My thermometer, made in England, only goes down to -5F (-20C)
Good for them! That’s dedication!
If you’re from England, it’s worth noting that today is also a one-day state-wide general strike in Minnesota. Which is a first for the mainland US in like 80 years. General strikes are generally unheard of to most Americans* with unions being much weaker in the US than they are in most of Europe. It’s pretty significant for a general strike to be occurring over anything anywhere in the United States
* There was a 1998 Puerto Rico general strike, but most Americans aren’t aware of that. The last major American general strike was in 1946
There’s warmth in numbers.
We should start talking now about how we’re going to hold these rat bastards accountable. And don’t let a politician tell you they’ll use the judicial system. Trump’s inevitably going to pardon them, and SCOTUS will cover them anyway. Slap any politician that says they’ll just let the judicial system handle it.
No, we need to give these psychopaths a taste of their own medicine. They will never face justice in the US legal system. Fortunately for us, they’ve victimized citizens of foreign countries. Which means those countries CAN try them for their crimes. Nothing the shit stains in the oval office or SCOTUS can do about that.
We need to extradite ICE members to the home nations of their victims. Did you kill, rape, assault, or deny legal due process to a citizen of Venezuela? You will face trial in a Venezuelan court. Let’s deport these fuckers and let them see how it feels.
