minus-squareares35@kbin.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up4arrow-down1·edit-29 months agoi don’t think it’s government run, looks like a private sanctuary from looking at their web site. if it was a state facility, it would be stated on its web site with links and references to the administering agency (dnr, cpw, etc); and if it was a private non-profit 501©3, that fact would also be stated clearly because that’s a significant bit of data, in its history page, and likely every page in the footer, as well as adjacent to every solicitation for donations or mention of its contact information.
