    With the current threats Europe faces, we need larger militaries, preferably with a combined European command.

    Freedom is worth fighting for.

        That is absolutely disgusting, I agree, but to have the ability to change our stance, we need larger military forces, as that will grant us larger independence from the US to act how we want.

          Has nothing to do with that . Otherwise they would be silent about trump threats to greenland. Truth is those country simply do not care about palestinians and non europeen countries

            There is absolutely truth to the claim that no one cares about non western countries with few exceptions.

            That is not what I am arguing about, I am arguing against the blanket statement to stop all militarization.

            We in Europe need a functioning millitary that is capable to stand against Russia and the US.

            I don’t mean that we need to be able to defeat the US, that is simply not feasible, but large enough to make defeating us pointless as you would expend more resources to take over than the land was worth

              Every country has the right to develop it’s military but apparently from the major western and Europeans Iran can’t. It is a very big mistake because it force Iran to deepen it’s relation with Russia further
