Cars damage car washes all the time, in 100% of the cases the driver is responsible and needs to pay for the damages. People are idiots.

I used to live near a car wash that had a bit of a tight turn at the exit. There wasn’t a whole lot of room, so the car wash had just a single brick stone wall, backed by some metal rods driven into the ground. This was to stop drivers from accidentally driving into the deep ditch on the other side. They didn’t own the land on the other side, so they couldn’t really do much about it and had to work with what they had. The turn was kinda tight, but perfectly fine really. I once took a huge van through that carwash and made the turn just fine. Worst case scenario one had to do a three point turn to get through, embarrassing, but perfectly fine. The wall was always full of scrapes where people hit it and needed to be rebuilt at least twice a year because people ran into it so hard it would collapse the wall. It’s shocking how bad some people drive.

Looks like a large spool of wire was on tje bed, got hooked on the spinning washer thing and wrapped around it. Probably wrecked it but maybe not.
