I have been thoroughly enjoying all of the Incarnon weapons from the original 5 to all the adaptors for those who have unlocked Steel Path.
Personally, I am so happy that Lex is good now since it’s one of my personal favorites along with the Boltor and Strun, just because I finally have a decent riven.
Laetum is probably my favorite or second favorite secondaries, very funny with the Glock skin too
Furis: “blowtorch from hell” only begins to describe the insane amounts of heat this monster unleashes. The power of the sun in the palm of your hands.
Dual Tox: brrrrrrrrr
Telos Boltor: I got a 2 mil headcrit on a fully armoured Corrupted Heavy Gunner. I love this more than life itself. Truth bullet jump bonus is nice too.
Ceramic Dagger: now that the self-stagger is fixed, it’s a funny finisher spam weapon. Has some funny synergies with Secondary Outburst and Deathtrap Trigger evolutions.
Prisma Angstrum: rocket shotgun pistol, now with no brain no aim incarnon mode.
Latron: only gun that can armour strip, making it one of the strongest in the game.
Boar: I use this on Nyx for the Pacifying Bolts synergy. It’s nine Amprexes in one! Unshifted mode hits really hard too on single-target.
Bronco: only weapon in the game that can force finishers through Overguard. Decent crowd clear too, but trying to charge it is miserable.
Furis really did get me too, love that little blowtorch, and I think you sold me on actually getting the Bronco adapter
Just make sure you’ve got the Dizzying Rounds augment, I have to stress. It’s not an innate function on the weapon.
I’ve found the Miter Incarnon most fun out of all the new gun adapters. A lot of them, especially the auto rifles, are very much just “press alt fire to add more damage”. I’m not complaining because running around with a buffed Braton is super fun, but it’s not exactly anything super special
Phenmor feels the most satisfying to use. I think the animation change to archgun when you go into its Incarnon mode just makes the transition more stark and rewarding. I have a soft spot for Laetum too considering how much I’ve used it for specific things
I’ve always loved Sancti Magistar so I’m very happy with the adapter for it. It just gives the weapon a buff so it can keep up with the times. The extra Bleeds on Impact procs is very welcome
Interesting, I actually haven’t used Miter so I don’t know how it normally works or with the adapter.
Also thank you for the new appreciation of Phenmor, I haven’t used it much since I leveled it that is really cool
The Miter Incarnon form isn’t super exciting, it’s basically just a buff to the bouncing glaives of the standard form, but the adapter buffs the weapon so much it goes from being pretty shit to very strong. It’s like Cedo’s alt fire on steroids
I am a sucker for Cedo, I’ll have to give it a try just for that
Skana and dual toxocyst. The inacarnon Prisma skana is very funny with 2 umbra mods and 198% crit chance, pair it with blood rush and gladiator mods and you’ve got red crits for days.
The dual toxocyst incarnon is just the strongest weapon I have… Melts everything from disruption carriers to archons (a bit of a stretch here).
Despair incarnon is close to being one of my favorites, but it’s just not as good as the dual toxocyst. Still kinda funny though.
If you’re on Xbox and interested, I do have a dual toxocyst riven I believe that I am not interested in if you want it
I’m on PC, but good world I love to have that riven
Dang, maybe one day they’ll get cross platform trades to work
Most favorite is the Lex Prime. Other favorite [not in any order] are Latron Prime, Laetum, and Innodem.
The Innodem Incarnon just synergizes perfectly with the specialized Ash Prime build that I have so I just love it. Probably my favorite dagger.
Fellow Lex enjoyer, it just feels nice to use.
I have sorta neglected melee Incarnons, any personal recommendations on the upgrade path for Innodem?
I’m not a fan of most of the melee Incarnons except for Innodem.
My upgrade path:
[1] Unlock it.
[2] Bladed Harmony (increase attack speed)
[3] Blade twister (+60% finisher damage)
[4] Protected Leap (+20 combo on finisher)
[5] Stunning Brutality (stuns enemies within 10m radius)
This works perfectly for my Ash build since I’m using [Fatal Teleport] on his 3. Also I use 5 Tau Forged Archon shards to regen health, so Innodem Incarnon form’s trait of adding 10% damage reduction per finisher [up to 4 stacks] works perfectly to give him toughness.
I’m also using [Arcane Ultimatum] on him to get +1200 Armor for 45 secs along with [Arcane Reaper] which gives me +24 health regen and +660 armor for 10 secs whenever I do melee kills, which count the finisher kills from [Fatal Teleport].
Also, him doing finishers helps add 20 combo each time, so with 3 Fatal Teleports I can activate the Incarnon form of Innodem.
So Innodem is pretty much the perfect melee weapon for my Ash Prime build and gameplay. Even added Kulervo’s 1 to Ash’s 1 for extra teleportation madness.
Sorry for the long reply lol.
Oh no problem, I appreciate any Warframe related rants, especially one I asked for. That is close to what I have so far, I think I have something different for the 3rd upgrade.
I do appreciate you going through that for me, your Ash sounds incredibly tanky
No problem. I made him really tanky and very mobile. Love this kind of gameplay.
Part of the reason I love Gauss, even before mods his 2 is unreasonably tanky and he’s so fast
Gauss is my 2nd most favorite frame because of that as well!
Its 5th evo “Armed Inspiration” grants 5 combo counter when picking up ammo. This makes it a good budget QoL statstick for exalted/pseudo exalted frames that want 12x combo and can’t get it with their abilities (i.e., Melee Guidance Baruuk/Excalibur, Gara). You attack with the dagger to build 12x combo and then (with Body Count installed) fire at least once every 17 seconds instead of deactivating Baruuk/Excalibur 4.
1st evo “Striking Swiftness” is generically useful if you don’t play Ash or use Innodem as a real melee. Praedos and Ceramic Dagger Incarnon also help maintain combo and have more generically useful evos, they’re just harder to acquire.
Torid. Not even close for me - LOVE that thing. Charges from body shots (which is great because my aim is really bad AND I play on PS5) and then just deletes enemies along with their friends and everyone else in the approximate area. Immensely satisfying, my absolute number one weapon since the adapter was released.
Love the burston adapter
