Greater is the joke, in my professional opinion, of a fixed position in a post-drone world. Ain’t gonna be no burger king and green bean on the FoB in the next conflict.
i would assume this is due to it needing a second trailer with a huge generator for energy, or mabye the vibrations from driving would hurt the electronics while in use
More likely an accuracy thing. If you’re aiming at anything more than a km or two away, minor vibrations in the base station can cause huge problems with accuracy, and you can’t fix it with OIS type solutions because any “frame you discard” with those type of methods is lost time/power on the target
I’d take an educated guess and say it’s a bit too dangerous to deep fry shit in boiling oil while driving. Generators can run just fine on a moving vehicle. Anything that doesn’t kill the vehicle’s motor (like driving at weird angles leading to oil starvation, driving in too deep water, etc.) won’t kill the generator.
Oh, that would explain it. You would need a few of them, plugged by thick cables and protecting the huge, immobile generator you need for powering a few of them!

The worst part is that it is a truck trailer. But it looks like it can only be used when fixed, for some reason.
