Having criminal charges and retaining a medical license, I’m not going to say it’s never happened because I’m not prepared to spend that much time researching the details, but while the charges are active and unless you’re exonerated, your license to practice is fucked.
With medical licenses criminal charges, arrests, etc must be reported. The respective boards then suspend or revoke.
