Russia and the USA have made it very clear that they will come with bombs and death for nations with no nuclear weapons. Not to even mention the horrors a genocidal facist regime like Israel will unleash. No security guarantee is worth anything with those three throwing their weight around.

Of course every nation without a nuke is looking to get one. Those with a few will look to get more. Consequently those with many will want even that much more. Its all a domino effect from the actions of reckless radical right-wing nut jobs.
